Harvested from different plots of our red slate vineyards on the Middle Moselle, this is a very characteristic Mosel Riesling. Lively and juicy, with fine, playful aromas. Very stimulating, with a powerful structure, rich fruit - well balanced with the fine acidity typical of the Moselle. Red slate is mainly found in the vineyards of Ürzig, Erden and Kinheim. The iron-rich, red slate soil produces wines that taste rich, classy and complex and have an intense mineral aftertaste. The stony slate floor reflects the sunlight to the grapes during the day and at the same time stores a large part of the heat.
